Day in College

Today I got the chance to ride on Saiman's car!!!! But we didn't go no where because we have no where to go. Funny thing is that Saiman doesn't has a driver license and when he tries to do a U-turn, we were in front of a police station... not a funny joke
Also Saiman brought his football and it was so sunny and we played a half and hour. I haven't played football since last year in Gt.Yarmouth, the ball has been kicked twice in the lake. I got it once and the second time was Saiman. It was fun playing football with Buick and Saiman.
I think I saw my high school friend Jamie Bricknell but I wasn't sure...

New Updates

As you can see I finally updated the layout of my blog.I haven't done much work and I have a feeling that my animation will be shortened then my original target.

Anyway I recieved FFVII:AC DVD, to see what's the "behind the scene like". Surprisingly the film was named after a Air Conditionor hence the intial AC.The english dubbing was horrifrying as I adapted to the japanese version. The reason I got the DVD is because it's good as a reference.

Speaking of FFVII, [Aone] fansubbers has released their Dirge of Cerberus: FFVII for the celebration of the release of the release DVD.

Gantz Chapter 231 was crazy, Izumi is outnumbered yet again and he's up against 5 best vampires.

School Rumble 2, episode 4 was funny as usual. My sympathy to Harima...

Ergo Proxy episode 8 explains proxy ideals, Vincent stays alive along with Pino while the other rest dies. Very good episode and I love the drawings of this animation.

[Kuroneko] Fansubbers released Fullmetal Alchemist - Alchemists V.S Homunculi OVA, very good animation.

OMG, How many stuff do I watch!?

I'm currently reading GTO manga and it's so many stuff are censored in the anime!!

Day in Day out

Well today I hang around with my college friend 'Tom', basically he hanged out today because he wants to borrow "Shadow of the Colossus" from me.

We were going to watch Scary Movie 4 but it starts at 9.30pm so we can't be bothered then we went to game station and played Tomb Raider: legend, the game frooze while Tom was playing, lol.

I finally done some photography for my work which was originally done by last saturday...

I played Guitar Hero in HMV and I can't respond well with the red and yellow button well even though it's technically my first try.

I saw Metal Gear Solid concept art book!!!! in Nostagalic which cost about £32.99, I definetly get it some day.

And seriously he took the piss that my bus pass photo looks like a girl, I mean I was angry when people assume that I'm female on the phone but this is getting on my nerves.

Gone away to Shanghai...

I thought it be interesting to say what happened to me in 2005 Christmas...
Since my mom and sister went to Shanghai for Christmas holiday and my dad is working elsewhere, I get to spend Christmas by myself. Like the song "All by myself, I don't want to be, All by myself anymore" by Eric Carmen. And also no christmas present for me.

30 December 2005
"I mean my house heating and boiler has been f*cked up and I'm spending time alone for two weeks.
I feel like sh*t"
- This was so scary at the time, my central heating broke down when it was snowing and my house was like a fridge, so cold... and no bath...

Tried to e-mail my problems to my sister when she was in Shanghai and she barely used the internet over there so while I was in the cold, she was having good food and warm baths.

31 December 2005
"Cooking
Lately I feel like shit because I'm getting sick of cooking maybe I should order something just like Daniel told me.
Now what should I eat tonight"
- Oh I remember this, I talked to Daniel (My high school friend) that my cooking sucks and I don't even like my dad's cooking either and Daniel said to me that I should just order a pizza. Shamefully I don't have money at the time. I guess I just miss mother's cooking once in a while.

I should of listen to him at the first place that I should just go to Gt. Yarmouth to his place at Christmas.

After their holiday I picked them up at New Street Station to help with their excessive luggage, my sister said to me first thing "Did you miss me? because I did", because I was still upset with the coldness I acted cold and said "no". But in fact I missed them so much...
My sister got me a Gundam model, my first reaction was like WTF!!? how old do you think I am ! But at night I enjoyed building that model...
My mum got me a goodluck talisman and I also got 'Slam Dunk DVD set'!!!! with little chibis Shohoku players.

Shadow of the Colossus repost review

19 February 2006
I purchased this when it first came out.
Playing it later on...
"Yes after playing this game it feels very interactive against the colossus. So far I defeated 9 out of 16 Colossus and some are challengeable, this Game reminds me of 'Princess Monoke' and also Zelda Ocarina of time and also Super Mario 64."
So pissed off with the last Colossus with the 'jump other wall' trick, I can only do it like 40% successfully, took me 2 hours to complete the last Colossus because of this stupid trick.

The ending cutscene is made with so much emotional and it's beautifully done.

The Spinto Band

I went to a gig in Barfly with my sister, Saiman and Evie at 11/04/06. The support band were good especially how they arranged themselves in who plays first. 'The Vehicles' played first then 'Sunny Day Sets Fire'. Suprisingly the Sunny Day Sets Fire, were so good expecially their last song which sounds like Deerhoof.

As for Spinto band, words can not described how good was their live performance besides from the smaller one who broke his guitar string and went pissed off. They were so young and hopefully they become big one day, the bassist/vocalist went crazy never had I seen someone so into the performance.

"pictures soon to come and a video of the crazy leg action and sync dancing routines!" < href="http://barflyclub.uranus.titaninternet.co.uk/system/bandImages/19111_2.jpg">

Asian Kung-Fu Generation - Blue Train Single review repost

Release Date: 30/11/2005 Price: 1456 yen, $12.36, £7.19

Luckily I got my hands on this single. I haven't heard Ajikan (Shorten name) for a while since they last release album which only had a combination of other Bands and their own work - Asian Kung-Fu generation presents Nano Mugen.
I love the artwork on the single, credit to Yusuke Nakamura.
I was expected that all songs will be different alot but it hasn't. But I still enjoy the music.

My Rating
Sound Quality - 10/10
Length - 10/10
Transitions - 9/10
Songs - 8/10
Overall Score - 9/10

Track listing
01. Blue Train - 9/10
The begining of the song imitating of a train departing, this explains why people thought it was wierd for an intro. Good preps to Ajikan, compared to Blackout this song concentrate on the drummer Ijichi which sound really nice.

02. Road Movie - 7/10
Not my favourite out of them all, however Gotoh puts a lot of emotion into the chorus. You can also hear Ijichi experimenting a lot more with the drums in this song.

03. Tobenai Sakana - 8/10
Now the good old punk style that ajikan has once has returned, the guitars in the begining sounds really good.

04. Gekkou - 9/10
Ijichi plays the Piano at the begining which the melody is a song called Claire de Lune by the composer, Debussy.
This song is balland style which is highly different to Kaigan Doori from the Sol Fa album.
This song is simply amazing hard to describe it.

iRiver H10 6GB Colour HDD Player - Midnight Silver & Shadow Hearts: Convenant review

iRiver H10 6GB Colour HDD Player - Midnight Silver Review
Damn Amazon sent me the wrong colour of the mp3 player!!! I was desperate for a new mp3 cause my old one broke, well the mp3 player is stylish but it sucks at transferring.

Shadow Hearts: Convenant Review
I try a new RPG series and suprisingly it's really indepth with all characters, I really enjoy the system of the judgement ring. What I dislike in the FMV is the eyes looks so fake while th lips look realistic.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion Review

31 December 2005 repost
First off, this is around 1990. I heard alot of people saying this is good as this is the father of whatever genre.
After watching the film, I am still puzzled.
Why does Japanese people enjoy destroying the whole world theme? (For example Akira)

My Rating
Animation: 09/10
Characters: 07/10
Music: 07/10
Story: 08/10
Overall: 08/10

I found this anime very bizare. Why and how does the main protangonist process such power?
Everybody dies except two characters, therefore they are Adam and Eve.
But there are some things that still need to be explained.

Honey & Clover Special episodes

Honey & Clover Chapter L
Aired at December 2005
One of the funniest Anime I seen in 2005.
Anidb:
"Based on a manga by Chika Umino. Takemoto Yuuta, Mayama Takumi and Morita Shinobu are three art school students, friends and flat-mates. Yuuta, the freshman, lives in terror of Morita, a very erratic sculptor. Their routine is disrupted when their teacher, Hanamoto, introduces them to his cousin`s daughter, Hagumi Hanamoto. Even though she`s entered college, she looks like a middle school student. Yet despite her appearance, she`s a talented sculptor and painter with several gallery showings already in her portfolio. Naturally, all the men around her fall in love with her."

This anime concentrates around Takamoto and his morality, which is good in a way.

Anyway this special episode concentrates on a person called Romaya, Takamoto thought he was a foriegner at first but he was wrong. Romaya is a Japanese 197cm tall sempai and he's very nice person. Those who know him are just automatically turn soft personality. He's a BFG.

Honey & Clover Chapter F
aired at 25/02/2006
Another special episode of Honey& Clover.
Hagu and Yamada made a teapot coat called Puk-kun, they become obssess with this frankenstein creation. But in the end Yamada's dad wore it covering his bike helmet...
Yamasaki was in the Men's wear magazine, the reason is that Miyoko-san during in job saw this shirt and thought it was amazingly cool and it is. She gave it to Yamasaki for birthday present and Yamasaki loves Miyoko secretly so he happily accepts it. And she's pissed off with it so she tries to give different clothes to Yamasaki to see he in bad taste in clothes. However it turns out oppersite and Yamasaki still in the men's wear magazine each time Miyoko give clothes to Yamasaki. In the end she still fails.

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Review
Release Date: JP - 14.09.2005, U.S - 25.04.2006, NA - 24.04.2006
Price: 5368.07 Yen, $17.48, £13.99

Since it's coming out soon in Europe and America, here's my opinion:
As a die hard fan for the 7th series in Final Fantasy, 3 years has finally pulled off as this film has release in Japan.
Square Enix presents this film, originally this film was 20 minutes long till they decided to make it 2 hours worth of CG animation.

Story
The film follows the game ending as Red XIII and his children runs and roar at the deserted Midgar, the rendering of Red XIII is simply amazing as the fur looks incredible. Then it displays 498 years ago.
The film sets 2 years after the defeat of Sephiroth and the meteor destroyed by the Planet's lifestream. The world is trying to restore balance from the incident.
The film revolves around Cloud, all these years Cloud still couldn't forgive himself as he watched Aerith died in front of him. Cloud yearns for his old partner who once protected him, Zack. Cloud decided to live for his sake and also holds another guilt that he couldn't protect his families or friends.
Not only that, he is infected with Geostigma illness which in worst case he can die. The syptoms of Geostigma is the skin revealing black areas. It is believed that the Planet is setting revenge onto the people who used it's lifestream, for example the Shinra Company.
After Cloud delivered, he was attacked by three men who has very high resemblance to Sephiroth. They are seeking their "Mother", Cloud must resolve and fight along with his friends.

My Rating
Animation: 10/10
Characters: 10/10
Music: 9/10
Story: 6/10
Overall: 8/10

Spoiler:
The storyline was so weak in the film so that's what made it a big letdown, especially how Sephiroth reappearance. Kadaj is seeking reunion with Jenova so he can become Sephiroth, Sephiroth ambition was to become like his mother Jenova so that he can travel to the darkness of the universe with the planet as it's ship. By doing so he tries to infect people with Geostigma who eventually goes to the lifestream and poisons it.
The cure for Geostigma was afterall under Aerith flowers in the church which processes some Holy Water, this is how Cloud and others healed.
The camera shots and the action is beyond words, it is far better than the Matrix. Especially Tifa vs Loz and Cloud defeated Sephiroth with his 6 swords.
Kadaj was also the children who was innocent who was used like a puppet, Aerith assure him to rest and Kadaj went to the lifestream.

The film which revolves around Cloud, Cloud resolved himself to fight again. The scene where Cloud and Vincent talked to each other about "Can Sin can be forgiven?", Vincent wasn't sure as he also hold guilt about letting his beloved Luceria get experimented by Hojo mad desire in which he created Sephiroth.
Cloud replied "I tell you how did it go" seems very important for the next coming game in Dirge of Ceberus in which Vincent is the main character.

Tifa played an important role, she was the one who comforted Cloud saying he shouldn't run away from the problem and also she understands Cloud the most.

In the end Cloud was smiling that his friends are there for him, not only that Zack and Aerith made an appearance saying he's alright now. So Cloud is sure that he is forgiven.
Nobou Uematsu made a very good attempt on the music with some heavy metal, I like the one wing angel theme.

Scrubs today review

Season 5 Episode 519
HIS STORY III 9/8pm 04/18/06
THE JANITOR SABOTAGES J.D.'S VIDEO DIARY FOR HIS MOM -- MARKIE POST ("PEOPLE’S COURT") GUEST STARS -- After J.D. (Zach Braff) helps Turk (Donald Faison) and Carla (Judy Reyes) turn his old bedroom into a nursery for the baby, he gets the idea to strap a digital camera to his head so his mom can see life through his eyes. But the project is cut short when the Janitor (Neil Flynn) seizes an opportunity to shove J.D. out of the picture for a day. Meanwhile, when mistakes by the interns begin to reflect badly on her, Elliott (Sarah Chalke) cracks the whip on her charges and even resorts to using her mother Lilly (Markie Post) to lean on Keith (Travis Schuldt) for information about his peers. Later, Turk accuses Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) of not being hip. Ken Jenkins also stars.

My thoughts about this episode - It was interesting to see Janitor indepth, although he seems tough on JD. Well all he wanted to do was to help people in hospital but people don't see that. Love the scene where Janitor shake hands with JD and the monolouging returns back to JD.
Oh yeah Optimus Prime rules...

First Post Again

Hey this is my post (again), but this time I try to update more frequently.

Well I went to my good friend Saiman to help him yesterday. Unfortunely I feel like I didn't help him that much cause most of his work seems to be fine art and he's applying to technical special effects for films. We chilled and jammed together and I think I'm getting better at playing with others. I also lended him my Monster Animation which described as "Much better than de vinci code" from my sister. We talked about many things but it was cool.
