新暗行御史 Shin Angyo Onshi
My Favourite Covers of the volumes:
This is an amazing manga by two Korean artist. It sets in a Korea Fantasy setting, it uses Korea's Folk Tales and historic figure into the a whole new story.
I read up to 10 volumes and I want more!!!
Summary:
"Blade of the Phantom Mask takes place in a fictional, and historical, far eastern country named Jushin. In Jushin, there once lived secret government agents called angyo onshi, who traveled the countryside in disguise. They were charged by the king to find and punish corrupt government officials and bring justice to the country's citizens. At the start of the series, Jushin has been destroyed, and corruption and tyranny are widespread. Blade of the Phantom Mask follows the adventures of one of the remaining angyo onshi, Munsu, as he continues to wander the countryside and deals with the chaos caused by Jushin's fall. Though initially episodic in nature, it becomes apparent that Munsu's travels are not random as the series progresses. In truth, Munsu is searching for the man responsible for assassinating his best friend, who was also the king of Jushin and whose death led to the fall of the country.
But as Munsu grows closer to reaching his goal, he also encounters old friends and comrades who have since switched their allegiance to his enemy. Through them, it is revealed that Munsu was not always an angyo onshi and in fact, may have been partly responsible for the king's death and subsequent fall of Jushin himself."
"Suikoden V is the fifth installment of the Suikoden series by Konami. It was released on February 23, 2006 in Japan, March 21, 2006 in North America and September 22, 2006 in Europe. The game features over sixty playable characters, with 108 recruits total. The game's plot centers around the political and wartime themes of the fictional Queendom of Falena. Players take control of the prince of the Queendom and traverse the world, acquiring allies and dealing with the problems of the nation."
The game story revolves heavily around politics but I found it quite predicteable at some stages. I've played up to 26 hours, the gameplay is easily enjoyable and to handle, the battle system is turn based.
I'm just amazed as how Square Enix can milk a franchise and people still buy it... But they did a great job at CG cutscene.
Final Mix is basically an upgrade to the normal Kingdom Hearts 2 game as well as remade GBA KH: Chains of Memories to a PS2.
When I watched it, it was very impressive because of the cutscene and the new figure in KH3...

Ok I watched the first chapter and all I got to say is gorgeous animation, I haven't seen an animation as beautiful as this. After watching this, I ask myself Do you remember your first love? So what about you readers?
Many thanks to the shelkerecus2 who hosted this nice animation up.
OMG this film is amazing, there were many rememberable scenes that everybody would of loved. I watched this last night around 9:40, we rushed and stuffed ourselves with pizza. The film has some unpredictable parts.
Summary: Nicholas Angel is the finest cop London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He's so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel's superiors send him to a place where his talents won't be quite so embarrassing - the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford. Once there, he is partnered with the well-meaning but overeager police officer Danny Butterman. The son of amiable Police Chief Frank Butterman, Danny is a huge action movie fan and believes his new big-city partner might just be a real-life "bad boy," and his chance to experience the life of gunfights and car chases he so longs for. Angel is quick to dismiss this as childish fantasy and Danny's puppy-like enthusiasm only adds to Angel's growing frustration. However, as a series of grisly accidents rocks the village, Angel is convinced that Sandford is not what it seems and as the intrigue deepens, Danny's dreams of explosive, high-octane, car-chasing, gunfighting, all-out action seem more and more like a reality. It's time for these small-town cops to break out some big-city justice.
Best recent film I watch, it has comedy and action. Remember to protect yourselfs from swarns and old people. Also the CGI are awesome, especially the gory scenes where the tower parts piece through the reporter.
I found this book at my uni's book sale and I couldn't resist getting it. I mean if brough in retailer shop or in Amazon it would cost around £20 but I got this book for £6.
Synopsis
"Based on a children's book by William Steig (who died this past October), Shrek (and its upcoming sequel, Shrek II), are offbeat fairy-tale adventures about a big green ogre, his chattering sidekick Donkey, a feisty princess named Fiona, and a power-hungry ruler named Lord Farquaad. In this book, the four main characters have a chance to tell all - about the trials and tribulations of making the movies, the clash of egos, the scenes that didn't work - in their own words. But the human participants (writers, directors, animators, production designers) have their say too, describing the painstaking process of inventing and animating an imaginary world from scratch. The book will have both an entertaining narrative and a trove of facts and trivia, presented with a wealth of illustrations documenting the films from conception to the screen. "
The graphics novel that has been released in 2006 on the PSP.
Ok it is confirmed by Sony that they are making a Metal Gear Solid film.
"We're working with the Metal Gear guys," Sony Pictures Entertainment Vice Chairman Yair Laundau revealed to Gamespot, following his D.I.C.E. keynote in Las Vegas.
Even though I'm a fan of MGS series, I'm not sure what to think especially 90% of film based on games are sh*t, that includes resident Evil, Super Mario, Doom, DOA and Mortal Kombat.
It would be cool that this film is a full CGI movie but according to Hideo Kojima, it's going to be live-action.
CGI model of Old Snake in MGS4, who is the main protagonist in MGS
It is said that Hideo Kojima will be an executive producer. Nobody can replace Hideo Kojima on directing the MGS, thats including the film!!
Storywise is known as one of the unique point and it's theme is genes. Also there are vast amount of character that people love and hate such as Solid Snake, Gray Fox/Cyborg Ninja, Ocelot and Meryl.
The question about this film is how are they going to answer some of the previous saga in MG1 & MG2. Big Boss's Outer Heaven incident and Death, Snake's mental break down for killing Big Boss and his retirement. Cause if they try to let new audience into this film, they need to consider how they show the previous saga. For example FFVII:AC, new audience didn't really understand what story is going on.
Live action cast: (Who I think the cast should be)
Big Boss - Sean Connery (Even though he might not appear...)
Originally the character is based on Sean Connery so why not make him Big Boss?
I watched this film yesterday and surpisingly I liked it.
"The movie details the experiences of "Peter Pan" author J.M. Barrie, which lead him to write the children's classic. He got to know four children who have no fathers. Drawing from his time with the kids, he writes a story about children who don't want to grow up." -imdb
One of the favourite shot was the theatre came that traverl around then to Peter, it was very fitting for the moment.
There were issues such as living in fantasy and not facing against reality.
My 2nd snowman: Too heavy to put onto the main body. Well for those who want to know what happened to my 1st snowman, well I destroed it and it became deformed.
My failed snow-angel:
We are never old to play snow!!!! I mean we get it like once a year. :)
What a cool name for an illustration book! It is the same people who produce Art of the Wired who called themselves Guu Media. Anyway I ordered this book at 2nd February and I recieved this cool book today!! I haven't looked indepth of the contents but so far it looks very impressive.
The direct sequel to the first film, http://crapholecrap.blogspot.com/2007/01/movies-review.html - link review to previous film. Well first off, they introduced us Amane Misa the 2nd Kira. I thought that they will produce a trilogy but this is the last film. The structure of the story is slightly similiar to the manga but there are changes especially the ending. Ok the changes in the film is the female 3rd Kira who works at the news station, while the manga shows a high class business-man who tries to control the world with the Death note. I like the scene where L meets Light at the university and also meets Amane Misa, they kept it to the original. In the end Ryuk betrayed Light and killed him, they kept his cheeky personality. Justice prevails, is that how reality ends? Nope it doesn't, compared to Infernal Affairs it had an awesome ending while here the japanese ruined the whole concept that Kira out smarted L. However L dies in the end he knows that his time has come. A year has passed, the family and Misa celebrated Light's birthday. And Ryuk starts flying around Tokyo and laughs at the world and flies towards the camera.
