Day 7

Mom went to therapy with my Aunt, so I tagged along. After observing the clinic, the whole staffs are really friendly and socialable. Funny thing is that the nurse didn't notice me because last time I was soaking wet and I was in front of her. One of the embarassing thing is that one of the nurse wants a boyfriend, and the her colleages ask me to...

Unfortunately I'm bit young for her and my other cousin in my mother side is more likely fitting.

Anyway the rest of the day ended up meeting with more relatives but this time is my Mother side. And I'm not in the spotlight this time, the spotlight is on the snorty kids of my cousins.

I went to my cousin house and holy mother f*ckin sh*t, such a high class place to live in.

I played ping pong with my cousin sons. Let me say this, the kids of my cousins are really spoilt, I can tell obviously that my cousin wife is trying to make me talk to his son.

I think I'm being used by family members to help the relatives learn and speak British English.

And so I done the oppersite, ha ha thats me alrite. The question is whetherI should give an impression on my English to these HK residents.

Day 6

Legend of Nikonu Pt.6
Yes it's not over.
Well first off, my mom went to get therapy on her leg once again.
She said that her knee is feeling much better so it's officially that chinese medical is real and works after existing for thousands of year.

I am annoyed to found that I can't withdraw money exceeding $3000 per a day. Sucks to be me...

Went to meet Grandma and yes Dim Sum, search Dim sum in my blog for the legend term in HK. After that we went and the sudden rain appeared. It rained so badly.

Had a afternoon nap at the flat because I was exhausted because I went to the clinic early this morning.

At 7 o'clock we went to Diamond Hill because I'm going to meet my father side family such as my grandma and uncle in day 1.
And it was a big family meeting my relatives such as more aunts, uncle, grandpa and finally cousin.
Don't get me started with my cousin, ok there is 4 cousin attended for the family meal. One of my cousin is hot, yes it's disturbing but I admit it because it's my first time seeing her.

It's strange to recieve comments on how to be tall when I basically eat the same food as them. I also get comments on being too big as I have muscle unlike the skinny branch in this local island.
And my young cousin who is really awkward to talk to when I'm the person to start a conversation...
Also I get nice comments like how they like my usual smiles and talkative conversations.

I have video clips and I'm going to recieve e-mail photos from my cousin soon.

I wore my broke t-shirt and yet again they have no sense of humour, people of HK are like a flock of sheep if I use this as a metaphor. They follow the same style so they look the same and why relatives said get a haircut which I'm proud of my indie rock style.
Heres the teaching of the day:
"Don't follow the trend, be creative and stop buying branded clothes and be f*ckin yourself."

Gonna Meet Sadiq today so lets enjoy the fun.

I met Sadiq and taught him a lesson and brief about the whole confusion.
We went to Sham Sao Po and Mong Kok to look at cheap electronics, and damn it is really cheap.
Yet once again I met one of my relatives, I met my second Aunt and she looks similiar to my mother.

Once I see Sadiq I realzed that HK is all about money system.
Also they have no sense of humour as I always love to wear my infamous Enjoy Cocaine T-shirt and only my cousin found it funny.

I woken up reallly late today because I didn't get enough sleep for the last few days. I notice that alot of people in HK can stay up for ages because of heat.
First off, I was supposingly meet Sadiq but I decided to meet him tommorow and after walking around the area, he called me and said he would like to hangout because of the heavy rain and call me back 20 minutes later and I waited the whole day for his call. So pissed...

Anyway my day is looking at stuffs I want to get in HK. Such as Vagabond Artbook by Inoue Takeshi, Mangaka of Slam Dunk.

I want to have more Dim Sum yet again, I'm starting to get sick now because tommrow I having to meet Grandma, on Friday Grandma + Relatives and also Saturday meeting Aunt + Relative. Which ends up me meeting alot of people and Dim Sum.

I had Dim Sum with my Aunt and my cousin. After that my mom and Aunt went to the clinic to meet a chinese/western doctor to help her fix her right leg as my mom has a conidtion that one of her thigh is bigger than the other.

My Aunt likes to lecture people especially my lif style and how I want to change course, she responded to me that I wouldn't found a job in HK and it would be a waste of time so do other degrees and in total you would get more than one degree.

So it ends up my cousin taking me to the Millluenum shopping centre. I notice that HK toilets are designed very good, much better than the UK toilets. Another thing is that they like to put Flat HDTV in the toilets and it sometimes makes me dont need to use the toilet.

Anyway back to the story the shopping center are structed very odd, I mean for example the 5 floor is all electronics and 4th floor is clothes.
Look around for cheap electronics and it's looking good though I didn't buy anything today.

I'm quite supprised to see girls playing a DS & a Wii, I mean my cousin she plays DS and Wii.
But I only seen a few playing PSP. I'll take photos when I have the chance. (Lies Lies)

Woke up during at 4ish because the temperaure was so hot.
Went to the HK immigration department with my mom to get a HK ID Card and I saw the hottest girl there who was also British Citizen, When I looked at her eyes I was lost in it...

Forget about th story, I think she's mix raced and has the most beautiful eyelasses.

I apparently needed to fill in a form until I had to fill in another form which is 5 pages long...

Also I went there at 8 and waited around about 11. Also let me tell you how HK is like, it's like breathing is suffocating because of the polution of High building. I missed the scent of UK.

We were supposingly meet my Aunt later on so me and my mom went walking around trying to get familiar.

Food... Won Ton Noodle Soup, totally a rip-off price for a small bowl. $20 Other one is a chinese desert which it's inredient is turtle. Kind of bitter but taste great if put honey.

We went and brought several stuff and it's all belongs to my sister.

First we brought her get list of a Mobile Phone and secondly a mp3 player:

Therefore the title is called The Legend of Sister.

I went to the optician to get new glasses and two pairs, wicked. My Aunt asked me an awkward question "Do I have a girlfriend?", I said no ans she thought I was lying and I thinked to myself, yeah how come I don't have one? Is it because I have a high Standard? I leave that question later on.

Ok I arrived at Hong Kong but thats like at 4ish that I arrived.

I'll tell you the full story.

I went down to London Heathrow Airport and Damn how strict are they!!! Checking shoes and liquid substace but then it's understandable if there is terrorist act.

Anyway back to story got the cab and onto the cach, everything was good till we reached the airport. Most boring place it can be besides from the tax free Scrubs season 4 DVD...

Got onto the plane at 8 but it got delayed till 9!!! I mean I got down there 5 and waited around and trying to get things sorted. Another irratating fact is I had to sit in the center with the guy in front of me tried to lean backwards but I stop him with force, haha.

And also the two babies that won't shut up.

I saw a nice looking girl at the side who has the whole side to herself, so envious... I wish I had the window view.

The plane has some good selections of films I got to say. But most of the films were avaiable such as Pursuit of Happiness and other stuff.

I got the chance to way watch Mel Gibson's Apocolpste, Also I watched almost all of Jim Carrey's Number 23 till they cut off the line... I will write the film later on.

While on the plane, thinking how things would be. Like can I still contract Sadiq before he leaves and can I bring all shitty stuff back.

HK airport

We waited till we meet my uncle and Grandma picked us up from the airport.

OMG the temperature is so different!! it was only 16c in London and now HK is like 35c.

Also I got to say my mom who met my Aunt finally for years and the thing they said were so Heart breaking.

They said "you've gotten fatter.... ", and this is typically my mom and my aunt which I shold of knew they would be.

Today has been a hectic day as I've seen countless relatives faces and new envirnoment to absorb. Also comments on how tall I am and what I eat. I eat the same things they do and I think it's the air that makes you grow taller I guess.

Not much to say besides from it's raining today and it's going to be hot over there. I've packed my stuff and pretty much ready.

I was shocked yesterday for the results from uni, I was expecting like 60-70%. But guess what I got 80%, so it means that it isn't impossible to get after all. Now I'm being cocky but I deserve since my grades in this year wasn't that great, hahaha.

The Legend of Nikonu pt1.

Well today is officially the day of first year is over!!!
Such a hard year, now I have to get packing for Sunday. I am obsess with the whole Legend thing title...

Here is the AMV that I used the theme in my previous blog topic. I'm trying to improve my editing skills. Based on Kingdom Hearts 2 & Final+ scenes. I might make a Metal Gear Solid AMV with this theme, hehehe. KH fans would appreciate this video as they would know the story.

Ashes From Time 東邪西毒

A Film directed by Wong Kar-wai, the film is based on characters from a famous chinese novel Condor Trilogy (射鵰三部曲) by Jin Yong.

First off I can't believe that I didn't watch this movie cause I watched alot of HK films in early 90's before the main stream pop film arrives and HK movie industry sucks these days.

Ok Wong Kar-wai films are known to be artistic and problems with relationship, sigh...

The main character Ouyang Feng is played by Leslie Cheung (Who passed away at 2003) who plays as an antagonist in the novel. How he reacts to other characters relation and Wong Kar Wai manage to make this film realistic as the novel seems to be a fantasy setting.

Secondly it has many famous HK cast. Not much to say as the film didn't really involve other characters besides from Leslie Cheung .

I really didn't like how things are always going back and fourth as the timeline gets easily confused. You can found the whole film on youtube, it is broken down to 10 videos.

I watched this film because I was looking for the theme in Steven Chow's Chinese Odyssey (1995) which they ripped from this film. But I found that Chinese Odyssey cleverly used this song to display determined, power, sadness and anger.

The song which I found in the end is composed by Frankie Chan (陈勋奇) - "Prologue - I walk alone in the world (天地孤影任我行)"

Happy Birthday Thomas

It's my good friend Thomas from Yarmouth 20th Birthday. So this post is dedicated to him.

Uni break

Finally the two modules are over but next week is the officially over.
Animation module went pretty well. All is left is chilling out and packing stuff for next week.
This year felt so long and hard work.

I manage to learn Maya now and I thinkk I'm going to play more on it since I know more about modeling, Animating, Lighting and rendering. So I did keep my word on this year besides from over eating chocolate...

2 More days!!!

I have about two more days left for uni and it's really killing me.

First I have Summer-sydnome where I want to abandon everything for Summer.

Anyway next Sunday is where I heading to HK. Looking forward to it? Not exactly I mean I can't handle the heat of UK at the moment so how can I handle HK.

Hello readers and it's been ages since I posted something but let me say one thing, omg when the f*ck do I finish uni? it's been like forever but this week is going crazy because of deadlines for this week.

Also I'm heading HK next sunday so it's going to be awesome as I will see my friend Sadiq which I haven't seen him for more than half a year and also teach him a lesson. It's been ages since I went there.

Anyway here is a ps3 advert, it's a surreal styled commercial which you either hate or like but I like it as there's something unique about it.

The question is whether it is smart to buy a PS3 over at HK? So far I need to get alot stuff especially gifts for friends. And as for my to get list, I need to get about 8 stuffs for my personal needs.

Aachi & Ssipak

A korean animation, apparently this animation took about 8 years to make and I can tell that they spent alot of work on it. The style reminds me of American animation such as Rugrats.

The two main characters are obviously is Aachi & Ssipak. I think Aachi is the google guy and Ssipak is the bald guy.

Throughout the film they argue alot.

Beautiful plays a big role who is wanted by both faction.

In this story there are two power factions. The first is the Diaper Gang consist of mutants who were originally human but went obsessive to Juicy Bar (it's a ice lolly equalient to drugs), their penis shrunk and they couldn't shit either so they can only feed on Juicy Bar.

Diaper Gang leader & followers.

The other faction is the military who tries to keep things order.

The leader is the little girl.

The terminator Cyborg

Doctor who created killer cyborg who is not interested in either side as long they supplu him with fresh corpse.

Not exactly my taste in animation but it was so wierd. It has so many adult humour and if I desrcibe this film it would be quite similiar to Save the Green Planet which is another Korean film.

Silversun Pickup gig

Yesterday I went with several friends who I haven't seen for ages. It was ages when me, Saiman and Meg hung out together.
I thought I was gonna be late because we surpose to meet at 7:30 and my bus has two not in service passing by. And that is just taking the piss.
Yet ironically I was the first one there...

The supporting band that I saw was Robot who playey ok-ish which most of their song sound too similiar.

As for Silversun Pickup, it was much better. The first song has really cool bass.
OMG the main vocalist/guitarist came out and in front of us playing and walked out to the crowd with his wireless connection. I think they were playing Lazy Eye at the time but absolute good performance though I was deaf at most time, lol.
They were very interactive with the audience, and yes f*ck you.

GOD OF WAR II

Perhaps the most gorestiest game I played since Mortal Kombat. Basically this game is button Mashing game which is not a bad thing but actually I believe it relieve stress.

I haven't played the first one I can tell that Kratos is very pissed off man with bad sense of humour.

Key inspiration I would say is the Kingdom Hearts 2 with the reaction button on some bosses.

Shadow of Colossus

It has great artwork and kept very closely to ancient greece with a mixture of fantasy.
