Know the crew team. lol.

Summary:
Baccano! is set mainly in 1930 in America. The age where power is everything and the Mafia are dominant. Baccano is Italian for noise, but light novelest Narita translates it as "stupid commotion" in the literary source of this series. Each of the stories in the series involves several unrelated plots intersecting and crossing each other as events spiral farther and farther out of control. Immortal alchemists, mafia operated speakeasies, and many other elements of pulp fiction are mashed together for a world straight out of the movies.

This is probably one of the under-rated anime series this year. It has many characters and the first episode that introduces these characters is probably the most interesting way of telling it.
The animation is top quality but the story itself is told in a mixed puzzle. It goes back and forth something like Pulp Fiction, also the story hasn't finished and hopefully they're gonna make the second series. Baccano! is based on a japanese novel and I think it's still continuing.

8/10

Assassin's Creed

I got this game like last Saturday finally completed it. All I got to say was fu*king amazing experience. Sure some levels were repititive but it was enjoyable.

Anything else to say? Oh yeah at first I was wondering whats the deal with the digital effects in the beginning when this game sets in Crusaders era?
Well the game sets in current time when a man named Dezmend Miles was captured because he has the genes of his ancester Altair the Assassin.
Dezmend has no choice but to enter the Animus (Sort of like logging into the Matrix) to search whats the remains of God's Tool from Altair memories.

As an Assassin you need to know your surrounding such as enemies and area.

The artwork design of the game is amazing, I really like the design for Altair especially with his hidden blade.

There were like 9 missions to assassinate a boss. Going from different places, the gameplay reminds me of Shadow of Colossus and GTA games.
My copy is a ps3 and it sometimes freezes because of Sony's recent firmware and that puts me off playing the game.
Oh yeah expect a sequel. I can imagine Dezmend stealth game involving with guns, awesome.

Oh what else to wrap up this review? Ok lets talk about the producer, Jade Raymond.

She is hot and Ubisoft is genuis to use her for public sale. Normally games are made by male and this boasts girls to play games with Jade in the gaming industry. Also it makes it stand it out when introducing games in gaming conference.
I was listening to Ryan Payton, Hideo Kojima, Jade Raymond and another producer (Sorry for forgetting your name...) Jade mentioned she has played MGS series and commenting Hideo Kojima game, but I suspect her she hasn't played it at all. She only said it was great game while the other guest has alot of comments.

My Rating
Graphics: 9/10
Characters: 9/10
Gameplay: 9/10
Music: 7/10
Story: 8/10
Overall:9/10

Beowulf review

Hi it's been a very long time since I blogged something, I have been very lazy.
I went to watched this yesterday with Tom.

I was expecting this to be an epic action film but boy was I wrong.
The CGI animation was nicely done but could of done better. The film was very much like a Video game cutscene but some scenes were very similiar to PS2/XBOX CGI when compared to PS3/XBOX 360 standard.

Angelina Jolie plays as the last demon who is the curse of the kingdom. She just won't die in the film. lol.
The action was very similiar to God of War 2 and shadow of Colossus games. But compared to Advent Children, it is a very poor in the action sequence. Truth fully they could of improved the camera shots.
There wasn't much story going on, only about man kind greed for power and lust.
My rating:
6/10

Heavenly Sword

It's been a long time since I posted something and I'm quite lazy because of my uni work.
I did considered stop blogging. But heck.

I brought Heavenly sword and it only took me practically 3 days to complete the story mode.
The story is told by 5 chapters or days.
Anyway the story of the game is ok but not the best. It is based on the Sword which is claimed to be a Powerful sacred sword protected by a special clan. Nariko the main protagonist is a girl who hasn't been acknowlege in the clan because she is a girl and is a disgrace of the clan.

CGI animation is the most beautiful thing about this game. They use the most expensive equipment to do this, they used about 60 motion capture camera and even put motion markers on the face. The guy who acted Golem and King Kong returns as the main antagonist.
It is an epic game I have a feeling that a sequel will come.

The gameplay is enjoyable, it's very similiar to God or War. It's all about button bashing, there is 3 style of fighting. One is speed which is dual wielding the Heavenly Sword, Range is basically long range attack that can sometimes deflects long range attacks like arrows and finally power which is based on power with Heavenly sword put together.
There is a system called Super style which is doing a final move that sometimes effects surrounding enemies.
The arrow and cannon move control is awesome and enjoyable but at first it was really awkward until you mastered it.
It's an awesome game but too short.
