Starcraft or MGS?

I just want to say that I was watching Arirang channel and there was hardcore gaming program and the presenter was saying "The most anticipating game 2008 is..." mean while I was saying Metal Gear Solid 4.
And the presenter said "Star Craft 2", I was like WTF!?

I mean Korea still play the original Starcraft which is like really highly pixelated game. And the hardcore players get paid for playing and they have a coach? Also they have female fans? What kind of country is Korea!?


Speaking about my Metal Gear Solid 4, I got to play the Metal Gear Online Beta by downloading from the European PSN. And for once we get the goods easily compared to America preordering goods.Though I was really pissed off that once I downloaded it with all the traffic, the game couldn't play because you need a frickin Konami ID!!
I had to wait 3 days later and at 3am just to get an account. It was successful and the worst thing is that the game officially starts 2 days later.
Ok thing is I patiently waited for a few days and log on. The thing is I wasn't impress by the gameplay. The movement of characters are really stiff, the graphics was average.
The titles sequence was hell confusing, it was pretty but was very intimidating to newcomers, I wasn't sure where to navigate.

The first match I wanted to play is Team capture but the stupid game put me into Team deathmatch. I played it to get a glimpse of how MGS4 mechanism works. Cool feature is the magazine trick, I killed loads while hiding inside the staircase waiting the opponents walk pass and shoot crazy at them when they read it. The cardboard box trick is very useful to hide.
Ok I played 4 games. I admit that MGO is very tactical based compared to COD4.
But the controls are still in question like how do I go to 1st person view or how to use barrel roll?
Overall MGO disappointed me but I did enjoy it.
